Dear Way To Go Traveler,
Nestled in Central Pennsylvania—about 1½ hours from Country Cupboard—is the Kishacoquillas Valley. The locals call it the “Big Valley.” There are three distinct and very different Old Order Amish groups—-with their 3 distinct Amish buggies! We have two days of “jammed packed” touring! You won’t believe what we are covering in two days! Read on for a new adventure!

• Meals: 2 Dinners, one at the Dutch Country Inn, and one dinner at the Country Cupboard, plus a boxed lunch our 2nd day.

Country Cupboard in Lewisburg, Asher’s Chocolates, Academia/Pomeroy Covered Bridge, Dayse Gone Bye Horse & Wagon ride, Allensville Historical Society Museum, Belleville Amish Auction, Amish countryside tour, Peight’s General Store, and Jack’s Mountain.

$253 based on double occupancy. Single supplement is $45. Please send a $60 deposit when deciding to participate on this tour. Balance of $193 will be due one month before tour—March 17th. Or send $238 by February 15 and receive a $15 discount.

Itinerary:
TUESDAY, April 18, 2017
6:30am—Bus report time
6:45am—Leave McDonalds, 315 Meadow Dr., North Tonawanda, NY
7:15am—Pickup Tops, Main St., Williamsville Mid-morning break
Noon—Lunch on own at Country Cupboard, Lewisburg, PA
2:30pm—Asher’s Chocolates in Lewistown, PA. “Asher’s Chocolates offers an award-winning selection—from assorted pralines to our chocolatesmothered pretzels and creamy fudge. We also have one of the largest (and most delicious) lines of sugar-free chocolates in the country.”
4:00pm—Longest covered bridge in Pennsylvania, 270 feet long, restored in 2008—able to walk through it. Review: “I believe this bridge is now the show piece and Grand Daddy of all our Pennsylvania Covered Bridges.”
6pm—Dinner at the Dutch Country Inn located in Reedsville, PA.
7:15pm—Leave for Fairfield Inn & Suites, Huntingdon, PA
8pm—Check into the Fairfield Inn & Suites.

WEDNESDAY, April 19, 2017
6:00am—Breakfast at our Hotel
8:00am—Leave for Spects Deli—pick up boxed lunch for the Noon-hour—this will allow us to keep moving and getting the most out of the day!
8:45am—Arrive in in Allensville—-Dayse Gone Byes horse and wagon ride, divide into groups of 8 or 10—while one group is on the wagon ride, the other groups will be going thru the Allensville Historical Society building.
Mid-morning—Belleville Amish Auction—this is the biggest event of the whole week in the BIG Valley—hundreds of flea-market stalls, live auction of Americana, livestock auction, plenty of Old Order Amish—and the 3 types of buggies that they drive.
PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH/PICTURE OF THEIR FACES—THIS IS A SIN TO THEM! PHOTOGRAPH AT A DISTANCE! These activities will be interspersed during the day with an Amish countryside tour. There will be special parking for our motorcoach—saving us on walking!
Noon—Boxed Lunch—usually a turkey or ham sub,with chips, cookie, and apple. plus can of pop or bottle of water.
Afternoon—Continue Amish countryside touring of the Kishacoquillas (Big Valley). Two stops before leaving the area—Peight’s Country Store and Jack’s
Mountain—best view of the valley—a ridge!
2:30pm—Leave the Big Valley—1½ hours to Country Cupboard
4:30pm—Dinner Buffet upon arrival
5:45pm—Depart for western New York
10am—Tops, Main Street & Union Road, Williamsville
10:30pm—McDonald’s, Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda.
