About The Owner:

Jerry Waldkoetter was born in Seymour, Indiana. As a child saw the Milan Indians vs Muncie Central Bearcats H.S. basketball game that the movie “Hoosiers” is based. Eagle Scout. He graduated from Concordia University – Chicago. BA in Education and Geography; MA in School Administration. He is a former principal and school teacher. Veteran of 70-80 Whale Watch tours since 1984. I have seen Humpbacks, Minkes, Blues, Bulugas, Pilots, Orcas (Killer Whales – actually the world’s largest dolphin), Gray Whales, and twice the extremely rare, North Atlantic Right Whale – – at the following locations, Cape Cod, St. Lawrence Estuary, Friday Harbor, Long Beach, and Costa Rica.

Kathy Burkett is an Administrative Assistant for Way To Go Tours. Now retired from her career, she worked in Information Technology at Moore Business Forms, EDS-Electronic Data Systems, and HP-Hewlett Packard A WNY native, she has enjoyed traveling with her family to 49 of the states, all but Alaska. Her favorite places are the Canadian Rockies and Medora in the Dakotas. Kathy enjoys the outdoors, campfires, sunsets, and all of God’s glorious creation.

Rebecca Dena occasionally assists Jerry with Way to Go Tours. I always admired watching Jerry help others explore our beautiful nation and have been interested learning about organizing trips. I am married 23 years to my husband Brian, and have been enjoying watching my two daughters Allison and Katelyn grow into beautiful young ladies.
